installing program: Check to make sure you have “admin. permission to download new software onto your system. You may have to contact your IT dept. Your PC may use firewalls that prevent download.

Cables: All products Except Quality USB use a 9 pin serial port cable-available at any PC store. If your PC does not have a serial port, obtain a USB to serial port adaptor cable at any PC store. The most reliable source for this cable is RADIO SHACK or Office Depot. Install the CD and follow directions VERY CAREFULLY to install the driver for the USB cable. OR call for Info on EXPRESS with USB.

Port selection: You may have to check the “control panel” and systems to view hardware device list. This will give you the port # assigned to the Serial or USB adaptor port. THEN, in Cargo Data software, under Tools, choose options and select correct port.

Webhosting error: Select tools, then options. At top of page click tab “networking”. Make sure box at lower left is checked for “work offline”. Click Download, on page showing progress, be sure box in lower left is NOT checked to update registry.
